Terms & Conditions:

1. Villa Quieta, 24200 Carsac-Aillac is offered for holiday rental by Cliff & Annie Walker and is a registered company in France operating under the name of SARL Randonnee En Dordogne.

2. As such, French law governs our business and therefore SARL Randonnee En Dordogne submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the French Courts in relation to any dispute that may arise from any booking.

3. To reserve the property, a 25% non-refundable deposit must be paid. Upon receipt of the deposit, written confirmation in the form of an email, will be sent to the hirer. This is the formal acceptance of the booking.

4. The balance of the rental charge must be paid six weeks prior to the start of the hire period.

5. Reservations made within six weeks of the start date require full payment at the time of booking.

6. We ask that a security deposit of €200 be paid at the same time as the balance. The security deposit will be refunded within 2 weeks of the end of the rental period subject to damages in excess of the “normal” wear and tear, and the condition in which the property is left. We, the owners, expect the property to be left in the same condition as found when moving in. Our decision upon this “condition” is final.

       We will contact the client immediately to inform them of any breakages or damage found after their                         departure and if in our opinion, the property is left in an unacceptable condition.

   7. The client agrees to be a considerate tenant and to take care of the property and to leave it in a clean and               tidy condition at the end of the rental period. Failure to meet this requirement (our decision is final) will result          in us, the owners, making a retention from the security deposit to cover additional cleaning costs.

   8.  Should you have to cancel your holiday once the balance has been paid (ie: within 6 weeks of the start date),          there will be no refund payable. We therefore recommend that you have cancellation cover included as part          of your travel insurance).

   9.  We, the owners, reserve the right to cancel any booking for whatever reason and without a specified time              frame. A full refund will be issued, however, this will not include any incidental expenses you may have                    incurred as a result of your booking, such as travel arrangements, travel insurance, visas, etc.

   10.The maximum number to reside in the property must not exceed 5 persons.

   11.During your stay, permission must be sought from us should you have visitors to the property.

   12.Please note that we do not accept pets.

   13.All lettings are from 4pm on the day of arrival and the property should be vacated by 0930am on the day of           departure.

   14.We are nor liable for any loss, damage or inconvenience suffered should Villa Quieta become uninhabitable            before the start of the rental period. Were this unfortunate event to occur, a full refund will be made. No                  further liability will be accepted by SARL Randonnee En Dordogne.

   15.The tenants and all visitors using Villa Quieta do so entirely at their own risk. No responsibility will be                          accepted for injury, loss or damage to property including personal belongings, vehicles and their contents.

   16.Please be aware that we will not be held responsible, nor will we reimburse the guest renting Villa Quieta 

        any costs as a result of the Government and/or local laws forbidding the use of water for pool

        maintenance/use, therefore forcing the closure of the advertised swimming pool that is available at Villa 

        Quieta.
